Uptown/Curtis Park

One of Denver's ethnic neigborhoods, with a high African-American and Latino population. Adjacent to downtown, on the east side. Full of old turn-of-the-century housing, along with new residential developments.

Uptown/Curtis Park Neighborhood

A street in the Uptown neighborhood.

Uptown streets lined with brick houses such as these are some of the best preserved neigborhoods in Denver. Some of these houses date back to the 1890's, which is extremely old by Denver standards.

Further down the street shown in the first image.

The brickwork on this building was interesting enough to warrant a picture.

These are houses lining the streets as you approach Curtis Park.

A better view of the houses shown above. Notice the mix of architectural styles.

This road is the approach to downtown Denver from Curtis Park.
